Once you have passed the identity checks and connected your bank account, your employer will approve your account so you can start accessing your on-demand pay. Approval usually happens within 24 hours. 


In some cases, if you sign-up after your employer has started running the current month’s payroll, you’ll have to wait until the start of the next month before you can access your on-demand pay. Most companies run the payroll process around a week before payday but it can vary.


If more than 24 hours have passed since you signed up and your account still hasn’t been approved, you should contact your Openwage administrator. This is usually a member of your HR or Accounting department. The Openwage team can’t approve user accounts, only your Openwage administrator can do this.
