When you connect your bank account, we instantly perform a number of eligibility checks. These include:


  • Income verification  - We need to confirm that you receive your income from your employer to this account

  • Name verification  - We need to confirm your name as it appears  on your bank account

  • Employer verification - We need to confirm that your employer is signed up to Openwage and pays your salary 


If we believe there's a potential issue with one of these checks you may see a screen asking you to contact us. Use our live chat in the app (Settings > Contact us) and we'll investigate.
